14 Days in Vietnam

Good Day Adventurers!

Since we last connected, we have left Bali and travelled through Vietnam spanning the length of the country from the northern capital of Hanoi, to the southern city of Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh city.

Halong Bay

We had the great pleasure of taking an overnight cruise both on Halong Bay and on the Mekong River along with a couple of other great day trips to Nimh Binh and the Cu Chi Tunnels.

Hoi An was fantastic. Neither of us have ever had clothes custom made that felt or fit so good! It’s basically an invitation waiting in our closet at home for us! We met some great new friends along the way, as well as getting to experience the friendly and inviting people of Vietnam.

The country’s war history is prevalent throughout the nation. From war museums to old relics, even rebuilt tunnels where the Vietnamese soldiers hid and fought oncoming armies, and won.

Vietnam was one of our favourite countries we have visited so far. The culture is rich. The people are welcoming and interesting, although sometimes pushy to try to get a bargain or a deal done to sell you something you most likely don’t need. It’s a part of life, and it’s half of the fun.

You can see our new video below as well as some of the great photos we took along the way, hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

With Love & Light,

Justin & Kristin Butler

History is compelling…Thanks for sharing your journey. A real treat to see you joyous and free surrounded by a rich spectrum of colour. What food in Vietnam would you open a small business with? Are you drinking coffee and tea? Which one/s? What is happiness to you?

    With love and laughter,
