How to Pack

“What do you pack when travelling for 2 years??!!”

This is the question we are asked so often which has led to the inspiration for this post.  So not only are we going to tell you “what’s in our backpacks”,  we have made a video to show you, along with show you how it all fits! Check it out:

ULTIMATE PACKING TIP: Roll your clothes, secure with an elastic band, then pack similar items in a zip-loc bag to compress them and keep everything organized and easy to see!

We may have overpacked or forgotten a few things… we are not worried! If/when we realize we don’t need something, we can give it away and when/if we are missing something, we can buy it on the road.

This list may not be fit for everyone as we all have different interests and also may visit different climates. We are planing on visiting all 7 continents and will most likely be in all weather conditions, so if you are packing for a similar trip – feel free to use our list as a guide! However, really think about the type of travel you are doing and what you personally would like to bring/not bring.

Any questions – let us know, we would be happy to help!

I think this journey of yours is amazing. I find it very inspirational that you are living your life from a “why not” perspective rather than a “why didn’t I” one. May the next two years be filled with joy, love, thousands of smiles and memories to last a lifetime. Godspeed.

Yes, that is definitely how we are living, it seems to allow room for freedom and a natural flow to take place. We are enjoying it very much. Thank you for your well wishes, we appreciate them very much.
